Education institutions have suffered bombing and shelling and many of them have been destroyed completely by russian attacks. Russian troops destroy kindergartens, schools, and universities.

The humanitarian needs of Ukrainian education institutions depend on the situation in the region. Some institutions are located in the territories of active hostilities and are destroyed or damaged, while others are located in regions with a relatively calm situation, so they accept and place internally displaced persons for temporary residence.

Kindergartens and schools need additional supplies for reestablishing the educational process with more children in classrooms.

Key needs of Ukrainian education right now:

• Basic goods for education institutions that are placing IDPs, including food, hygiene products, goods for the organization of accommodation;
• Psychological support for children, teachers and staff at all levels;
• Support for continuing education process for Ukrainian children in Ukraine and abroad, including support for the digital transformation of education;
• Restoration of damaged and destroyed education infrastructure.
